Benson Wins Another Silver Merit Award
ABC of Mississippi awards Benson with a Silver 2020 Merit Award for the addition and renovation of Clinton Junior High School.
Designed by Dale|Bailey, an Association, this project was an entire renovation of the existing Clinton Junior High School facility including the
addition of a new entry foyer and extensive security improvements including masonry columns and iron fencing around the entire school grounds.
The front entry is showcased by a large arched curtain wall system with an architectural canopy above. The upper walls of the new foyer are supported by 2 cast-in-place concrete lintels that required extreme attention to detail and safety to accomplish this challenging design. This project was completed in a 4-phase schedule that allowed the students and teachers to be in session throughout the entire project.
