Benson Sponsors Butts & Guts 5K Race & Walk
Helping Raise Colon Cancer Awareness
On Saturday, March 31st, Benson Construction & Masonry helped sponsor the first Butts & Guts 5K Race & Walk Against Colon Cancer at Liberty Park in Flowood.
The purpose of the 5K was threefold:
- to raise awareness of colon cancer
- to celebrate survivorship
- to ultimately raise money for GI Associates’ colon cancer research
In the end, over 350 participants either ran or walked in the event. Here’s to more Butts & Guts 5K races in the future!
