Benson Awarded Gold By Associated Builders & Contractors
Benson Construction and Masonry’s work on Capital Ortho in Flowood, Miss. has earned the company a Gold Merit Award by Associated Builders and Contractors Mississippi (ABC Mississippi) in Healthcare construction. The company received the honor at ABC’s annual Merit Award Ceremony on November 16, 2018, held at Old Capitol Inn in Jackson, Miss.
Capital Ortho, formerly known as Capital Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center, was designed by local architecture firm Canizaro, Cawthon, Davis with Jackie McGowan, of McGowan Medical Consulting, acting as the owner’s liaison. The 48,000sqft facility includes a medical clinic, physical therapy, imaging center, administration, and a 4-room ambulatory surgical center specializing in orthopedic procedures.
