Johnny Benson, President
As co-owner and principle of Benson Companies, Johnny manages the masonry division and provides oversight to the commercial division, overseeing all project coordination and upcoming project bids. He consults with architects, engineers, and owners on all aspects of construction. In 1977, Johnny started his career in masonry under the guidance of his father, J W Benson, who operated a masonry construction business beginning in 1946.

Rick Benson, Secretary / Treasurer
Rick Benson is also co-owner and principle of Benson Companies, managing the commercial division and assisting with the masonry division, overseeing all project coordination and upcoming project bids. He consults with architects, engineers, and owners regarding commercial construction and development. Rick and Johnny formed Benson Builders and Properties Incorporated (now Benson Companies) in 1987. He is also an active practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist providing anesthesia services to area ambulatory surgery centers.

Chris Benson, Project Manager
Chris is the senior project manager for Benson Companies, coordinating all commercial projects and specializing in developing good working relationships with each project’s owners, architects, and engineers. Chris started in the business in 2005 after attending Mississippi State and Mississippi College. He’s worked in the commercial arena since that time, managing, bidding, and overseeing all of Benson’s commercial projects.

Brett Benson, Project Manager
Brett is the project manager for all masonry projects and operations of the company. He oversees all staffing, material and equipment acquisition, onsite operations of each project and monitors production and workforce activities. Brett started in the business in 2009 after attending Ole Miss. He also specializes in land management services and production.

Larry Holder, Project Manager & Superintendent
Larry is a project manager and supervisor of all commercial construction operations, including management of schedules, vendors and subcontractors, and day-to-day operations for each project location. Larry previously owned his own acoustical contracting company. He’s been with Benson since 2002, specializing in interior construction development.

Linda Keller, Accounts Manager
Linda is the administrative accounts manager, handling all project accounting, payroll, standard bookkeeping, audits, insurance correspondence, and overall job costing and accountability practices of Benson Companies.
